I noticed someone had cut out a section on this rest to make it easier to load arrow.

Fish disposal is always a problem for the bowfisherman. It looks bad for the sport if you throw them back into the water or leave them on the bank or even in a park dumpster.Try to contact zoos, hog farms, alligator farms, people in the lower income area of town or to be used for chum (bait) along the coastal states.

After you and your partner count those fish at a tournament, take some toohpaste or a citrus soda like a mountain dew and clean those smelly hands. It works great, try it.

To have a more durable arrow, you can insert a fiberglass arrow into a 2213 aluminum shaft.
Here are a couple of tips from Brandon S. Taber of Shawnee, OK.

The Shakespeare reel 4002ti has a weak anti-reverse spring.  Replace the spring with a spring of a Bodoodle arrow rest.  I changed mine about 2 months ago and not a problem after that.

The pick-up pins on the zebco reels are made of plastic and the Shakespeare is made of metal.  The pick up head on the Shakespeare is interchangeable with the zebco on two models I believe it is the 808 and the 888 (it is the 2 small body reels)

Step 1: Insert a 3 inch loop.

Step 2: Bring loop around the tip end.

Step 3: Bring loop over knock.

I recommend using the slide system for safety instead of tie to the rear.
